Scope and precedence

These Rules and Regulations govern the Win4Cancer Lottery and the 50/50 raffle run alongside it by Ajax Pickering Hospital Foundation under two licences issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario: Main Prize Lottery Licence # RAF1553326 · 50/50 Draw Lottery Licence # RAF1553324.

Buying a ticket is acceptance of these rules. Where anything published elsewhere on this website — a summary, an answer in the FAQ, a social post — differs from what is written here, this page and the licence conditions govern. The rules are numbered continuously and every number below is in use.

The rules

  1. The total value of all prizes in the lottery is $116,568.70.

  2. A maximum of 23,313 main lottery tickets is available for sale.

  3. Main lottery ticket prices are:

    • 1 ticket for $25
    • 8 tickets for $100
    • 30 tickets for $250

  4. The prize fund of the 50/50 raffle is 50% of the total value of all 50/50 add-on tickets sold during the licence period.

  5. Prices for the additional 50/50 raffle tickets are:

    • 5 tickets for $10
    • 30 tickets for $20
    • 150 tickets for $50
    • 300 tickets for $75

  6. A valid ticket is the receipt and the proof of purchase.

  7. Only valid tickets take part in the draws.

  8. Tax receipts cannot be issued for lottery ticket purchases.

  9. The purchaser must be located in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.

  10. The purchaser must be at least 18 years of age.

  11. Tickets may not be purchased for, or in the name of, a person under 18.

  12. All main lottery tickets and 50/50 raffle tickets are sold through the systems and website of BUMP, A Division of Canadian Bank Note Company Ltd..

  13. The official ticket sales website is win4carcer.ca. Tickets bought online are sent to the email address given by the purchaser. Tickets are also sold in person at point-of-sale terminals at various locations in the region: Tickets are also sold in person at point-of-sale terminals across the region from 10:00 a.m. on 29 June 2026 until 11:59 a.m. on 19 November 2026. A printed ticket is issued at the terminal.

  14. During checkout, online and at a point-of-sale terminal, the purchaser may add a 50/50 raffle ticket. A 50/50 add-on ticket can only be purchased together with a Win4Cancer main lottery ticket. Every time.

  15. Every valid ticket entered in an Early Bird draw — including the tickets that win one — stays in the main draw and in the 50/50 draw.

  16. The following are not eligible to participate:

    • Employees and members of the Board of Directors of the Ajax Pickering Hospital Foundation
    • The senior leadership team and Board of Directors of Lakeridge Health
    • Employees of TBK Creative
    • Employees of the registered gaming supplier BUMP, A Division of Canadian Bank Note
    • Employees of Ajax and Pickering Boyer
    • Members of the same household as any of the above
    • Employees of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario

  17. Early Bird draws:

    1. Early Bird prize of $3,000. Tickets until Wednesday 2 September 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET. Drawn at Thursday 3 September 2026, 12:00 p.m. ET at the Foundation office, 580 Harwood Avenue South, Ajax, ON L1S 2J4.
    2. Early Bird prize of $2,000. Tickets until Wednesday 30 September 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET. Drawn at Thursday 1 October 2026, 12:00 p.m. ET at the Foundation office, 580 Harwood Avenue South, Ajax, ON L1S 2J4.
    3. Early Bird prize of $1,000. Tickets until Wednesday 28 October 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET. Drawn at Thursday 29 October 2026, 12:00 p.m. ET at the Foundation office, 580 Harwood Avenue South, Ajax, ON L1S 2J4.

  18. The main prize is a 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 2dr Coupe 1LT with a value of $110,568.70 including all taxes. Tickets are on sale until 19 November 2026, 11:59 a.m. ET.

  19. The 50/50 raffle prize is 50% of the total value of all 50/50 add-on tickets sold during the licence period. Tickets are on sale until 19 November 2026, 11:59 a.m. ET.

  20. The main draw and the 50/50 draw are held on 19 November 2026, 2:00 p.m. ET at the Foundation office, 580 Harwood Avenue South, Ajax, ON L1S 2J4.

  21. The winning ticket number, the winner's name and their city of residence are recorded and announced on the website and on social media.

  22. A representative of the Foundation notifies the winner and provides instructions for claiming the prize.

  23. Early Bird prizes may be collected at the Foundation office, or delivery may be arranged with the Foundation.

  24. The winner must accept the prize as offered. From the moment of transfer the winner is responsible for registration, licensing and insurance. No cash alternative is available. The vehicle is released at 425 Bayly St W, Ajax, ON L1S 6M3.

  25. Personal information is collected solely to complete the sale of tickets, to identify purchasers and to contact them. The privacy policy is published on this website and is available from the Foundation on request.

  26. The list of winners is published on win4carcer.ca.

  27. Enquiries are made by email to support@win4carcer.ca.

  28. Definitions:

    • AGCO — Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
    • Win4Cancer Lottery — the electronic raffle system approved by the AGCO, developed by Canadian Bank Note and operated by Ajax Pickering Hospital Foundation.
    • Dashboard — a component of the Canadian Bank Note computer system.
    • Draw — the selection of a winning number by the random number generator within the raffle system.
    • Player — a person who has purchased a valid ticket.
    • Prize — the main prize, an Early Bird prize or the 50/50 prize, as set out above.
    • Ticket Number — the unique number issued by the raffle system for each ticket sold.
    • Valid Ticket — a ticket issued by the raffle system, paid for in full, and not cancelled or voided.
    • Winner — the player holding the winning ticket for a given draw.
    • Winning Number — the ticket number selected by the random number generator.
    • Winning Ticket — the valid ticket bearing the winning number.

  29. These rules take effect on 16 June 2026.

Amendments

Any change to these rules during the licence period requires the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. An approved change is published on this page and the effective date is updated. The Foundation keeps the superseded version and will provide it on written request to support@win4carcer.ca.

Disputes

A dispute about the conduct of a draw, the validity of a ticket or the award of a prize should be raised in writing with the Foundation. If it cannot be resolved, it may be referred to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, which regulates raffle licences in Ontario. These rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it.
